Dwelling in Gotjawal is a small house shaped by its direct relationship with the surrounding forest. The design began with the existing ground—its subtle changes in level, the density of the trees, and the views that open between them. Rather than treating the landscape as a backdrop, the house brings these conditions into everyday life.

The approach to the entrance makes the transition from landscape to interior gradual. Crossing the threshold does not create a complete separation from the outside. Framed views and changing light maintain a connection between the rooms and their surroundings.

Within its compact scale, the house offers varied experiences without relying on dramatic gestures. Daily routines unfold alongside changes in weather, light, and season. The architecture remains restrained, allowing life beside the Gotjawal forest to define the character of the house.
